Thanks to these two registry settings ready, you can easily enable or disable the display of the operating system that lets you use a web service to locate suitable programs to open files with unknown extensions.
Turning off this option, Windows will show you directly the dialog box that allows you to choose a locally installed application.
The settings are compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, in both 32-bit (x86), both 64-bit (x64).
