Let me know if you can change the menu bar of Windows Explorer. To be precise, I would remove the word "Favorites" from the menu.
The location is as follows:
Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc
Left column: User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Internet Explorer - Browser Menu .
In the right window double click on "Hide Favorites menu" apply and ok. Disappear from the Internet Explorer menu, as well as Windows Explorer.
The setting takes effect immediately.
